Yao Sing's album 'Trapanese' was his first official release under a label. The label that signed him was Polydor Records, they signed him after his viral freestyle that he ended up putting on his album. His album's songs mainly focus on his young life in Manilla as a 'gangster' and his current life filled with fame, money and girls.
Personal Background
Yao Sing is a 19 year old straight male rapper, he is half Filipino and half English. He mostly uses the genre specific flows and tempo in his songs. Yao Sing first debuted towards the end of 2023 with his first song One Up, this song much like his others are about his lifestyle as a 'gangster' and a rapper. It is clear that he takes inspiration from other drill artists like Nemzzz, Digga D and Young Adz when it comes to both his songs and music videos. Yao Sing grew up in Manilla in the Philippines in poverty so his childhood was filled with crime. He used as music an outlet for his less then stellar upbringing. Yao Sing moved over to London in 2022 where he released his music for the first time and blew up almost instantly.
